He was bought as a First Ridden for my Grandchild but sadly he is more of a Second Pony so he is not going to work out :(
& there is little point in holding onto him and waisting a seasons fun & games on the off chance of the grandchild may move forward faster .
He has a bit of speed on him when you open up the throttle and he has a lovely smooth movement in trot, in walk he moves with a purpose not lazy or sluggish,
He has a beautiful Jump on him with lots of scope!!
He has done some games in our field but we haven’t tried flags yet,
He is totally bomb proof in traffic so much so that the Ringwood Crazy lady came up right behind him revving her engine and shrieking like a banshee and he didn’t bat an eyelid!!!
He is good for the Farrier & the Vet,
He loads and travels well,
He is clipped out and was a good boy for the lady,

Downsides are he can be funny about taking his bit and he can sometimes be nervous if your too rushed :(
I’d probably say he definitely has all the gear and seeing how absolutely unbothered in traffic he is he has definitely been there and done that!
but He is totally waisted with us sadly :(
He has a replacement passport so we restarted his vaccinations as recommended by the vet

My lovely horse lorry is for sale – she’s an oldie but a goodie!

As she is now 42 years old she is EXEMPT from car tax and no MOT needed. Insurance is also very cheap (£200 this year for any driver over 25)

Very simple workings – no computers or sensors to go wrong! All manual – manual gearbox, manual windows, manual choke - makes it all very straightforward.

Petrol engine – doesn’t go much over 50 with my horse onboard (sometimes 40 up long hills) but then I wouldn’t want to go much faster with him anyway.

It has a rear ramp for loading and side ramp for unloading. Both have internal safety doors that then lock back to make a runway, meaning it is very welcoming for loading. Jockey door with window in door and above. Two stalls with chest bar, padded central divider, padded sides and back.

Great for 2 smaller ponies or one horse and all its stuff.

Floor has a wooden base over the metal for extra security and to be non slip. Storage area over the cab.

Window and sliding door between stalls and the driver – I keep it open so I can chat with my horse on the journey 😊 Drivers seat and double bench passenger seat in the front, all with seat belts. Tow hook & coupling.

Although it has not needed an MOT, I have had annual safety checks for peace of mind. I have just had a new starting motor, fan belt, 2 new door handles and locks, new washer pump and blades. Last year had 4 brand new tyres, and new bulbs throughout. Year before had all new rubber matting and wooden struts on the two ramps. Brakes, door lifting mechanism, engine etc., checked each year.

Comes with 2 saddle stand/carriers, 2 buckets, water carrier and collapsible shovel.

Selling because we are both getting on a bit and are frankly feeling a bit knackered but have had some lovely times with the lorry. Hopefully someone else will get to enjoy it now.

Nutmeg is a 14.2hh 15yo traditional coloured cob, kept on full livery at a lovely friendly yard in fabulous riding country just south of Guildford. She is the sweetest, gentlest mare, and totally unfazed by almost anything. She only wants to please, and doesn’t know how to be naughty! She is not a plod, though, and is well schooled and responsive to correct aids. I'm looking for a sensible, sympathetic adult rider to hack her out one day a week, preferably on a weekday, days flexible. Extra days are often available at no extra charge. You need to have experience of hacking a horse out alone, and be competent at walk, trot and canter. She would suit a nervous rider, as she tries so hard to please and is a real confidence giver, or an experienced rider who just wants a safe, steady hack in wonderful countryside. No complete novices, children or teenagers, please, and she has a weight limit of 10½ stone. I am looking for someone who will enjoy Nutmeg for what she is; she is willing and gives 110% every ride, but she is not a racehorse! No yard duties, but a financial monthly contribution of £130 is required, and you must have your own personal accident insurance.

Rici is a well bred 4 year old quality native, black sliver dapple skewbald gelding. He stands currently at just under 145cm. He is by dual graded mare, Cerrighedd Simply Magic and CHAPS graded stallion, San Cler Cardinal.

Rici is 37.5% Welsh x Traditional half brother Cerrighedd More Magic. Many of his relatives are out doing well under saddle in showing and BD. I’m sure he will excel in any chosen career.

Owned by me since a foal, he has been shown with some fab results including taking two championships at TOYS, South Downs cob final winner, reserve champion at Dorset County and too many champions and reserves to list.

Rici was backed in 2023 and took to being ridden really well, being hacked in walk, Trot and canter. He has just come back from his winter holidays and is back being ridden having been hacked and currently been in the school a handful of times, being worked regularly and enjoying being ridden.

He is good for farrier, bath, clip, load etc and has regularly travelled to shows since he was a foal.

Black lightweight Abetta western saddle, bought in the USA. It's a 16", which is equivalent to a 17" GP saddle.
Even though it's made for Arabs, I've been using it on a 14'2hh New Forest pony, as both breeds tend to be barrel shaped.
It comes complete with a Professional Choice memory foam saddle pad, to offer spine clearance, as well as a Polypad, which I use under the Professional Choice pad to keep it clean and also because Polypads wash and dry easily.
Also, it comes with 2 sheepskin seat covers, one of which goes halfway down the fenders for extra comfort.
For additional comfort are the foam padded E-Z endurance stirrups.

This 4'3" brilliant exercise rug was used on a 14'2 hh New Forest pony.
Even though these exercise rugs are not deemed waterproof, I found that when going out in the rain the horse stayed amazingly dry and never once did it sweat up under the rug, even on dry days.
